I want to start doing regular developer meetings to discuss ongoing developments and plans
first one will be Friday February 20 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm UK
we have done this once in the past (2024). see links:
- Regular Online PyLabRobot Discussions - PyLabRobot User Discussion - Lab Automation Forums
- PLR Meeting Feb 5 at 4pm EST - PyLabRobot User Discussion - Lab Automation Forums
which I would say was a success. I just didn’t bother at that time to do it again. now I have renewed motivation
the format I want to try is similar to what is described in those threads:
Prospective agenda points:
- Discussion of current development efforts
- Future dev plans for PLR / discussion of PLR pain points
- Evaluation of whether these meetings are more productive than the forum
Intended audience: whoever wants to join. Given the agenda, >=basic familiarity with PLR would maximize this meeting’s usefulness to you, but again, everyone’s welcome to discuss or simply listen in. (I’d be happy to organize a separate intro-to-PLR meeting if people want that.)
rsvp form:
the goal is to make this a regular thing. we might update the frequency / format / day / time etc. over time based on feedback
